Beauty is in the eye of the beholder

Prior to writing this post I never gave any real thought to the origins of the phrase ‘beauty is in the eye of the beholder.’ It’s empowering and has an interesting history that spans from 3rd century BCE Greece to Margaret Wolfe Hungerford, who is widely credited with coining the phrase in its current form. And, it’s all about the eyes in this beautiful live painting produced by Allan Andre at Breakout Squad’s Eclectic Night event. Congrats to the lucky individual who won the bidding war for this work of art.
